Radar Interferogram for the Big Island

This image is almost the same as a topographic map with contours on it. The difference is that the colors are cycles of radar phase, and that in areas where the phase information is not very good (such as over the rain forests on the NE flank of Mauna Kea) there is insufficient information to produce a set of radar fringes.
