Stop 3: Waimea Canyon Overlook
Waimea Canyon is over 15 km long, ~1.5 km wide, and ~1,200 meters deep. Although this is small by the standards of Arizona's Grand Canyon, the bright colors of the weathered volcanic rocks and the tropical vegetation make for very attractive views along the Rim Drive.
