Stop 8: Kilauea Lighthouse
The former plantation town of Kilauea is famous for the Kilauea Lighthouse, seen here perched on a point of land that is the northernmost point of the main Hawaiian Islands. Built in 1913, this lighthouse is open for tours. Directly off-shore is Moku'ae'ae Island, which is a very interesting bird sanctuary.
