View of "My Island", a really friendly bed and breakfast house, in Volcano Village just outside the National Park. This house is within the tropical rain forest that has been unaffected by volcanic eruptions for ~600 years. As a result, the surrounding vegetation is mature Ohia forest, with trees that are typically ~8 - 10 meters tall. This part of the island is very wet, with ~200 cm of rain per year. From here you can continue on to Site 2 or you can pick another point from the Radar Tour page.
