Radar Tour of Kilauea Crater: Site 30
This is the thickest, most mature, forest in the radar image. Here we are just past the turn-off to the Park (heading south), with the forest on the north side of the road. Most of the scene shows mature ohia ~15 - 20 meters high. Note that there is a very dense firn under-story and that there are some "exotic" tress within the stand.
