From close to the summit of Kilauea Iki, this is a view looking across Byron Ledge into Kilauea Caldera. You can see here that the trees are densely packed (comparable to the firn forest at Site #2 ). From here you can continue on to Site 9 or you can pick another point from the Radar Tour page.
