We've seen Mauna Ulu, which erupted between 1969 and 1974, in several parts of Virtually Hawaii's trips to the Big Island. Here is an unusal view of the Mauna Ulu shield, looking almost directly into the summit crater which, we are told, is almost 80 meters deep (but we've never seen the bottom from the ground, so that we don't know for sure!).
