Journal of my trips to Maui

30 March 1996

The morning we went to a restaurant over the water where we saw some trumpet fished and humus and black and red crabs. My sister and I had a tropical juice, then a waffle. We walked to the harbor and took a sailing boat with the Pacific Whale Foundation for whale watching. I took a few pictures. We had a very nice view of Maui, Lanai and Molokai. The whales were a marvelous sight. Some came close to the boat. We saw some mothers and their calfs. We saw flying fishes while we were going back with the boat. We went back to the hotel, took the car and went swimming to a beach. Then we took our luggages and left for the airport where we took a tiny propeller airplane back to Honolulu.
