Stop 3: Byodo-In Temple

Situated in the Valley of the Temples, Byodo-In is a $2.6 million replica of the 900-year old Byodo-In Temple that has been proclaimed a national treasure in Japan. This replica was dedicated in 1968, almost 100 years to the day after the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii.
